Guy not only has a way with dogs, but he has a way with people. I truly felt his care for not only my dog, but for me. He truly believes in his craft, and he does everything to build the relationship between me and my dog. I know my dog in ways I would have never known doing this on my own. We like the fact that Guy has had a lot of experience training dogs. We are also very much in favor of his approach in training, establishing trust with the dog, never, ever harsh or overpowering.

The owner/trainer is amazing! My dog exhibits high anxiety and other behavior issues. Guy showed me how to work/redirect/not reinforce the maladaptive behavior and not drive Heist's (my dog) anxiety up. He showed me how to maintain control in the situations. Talking to someone about your animal’s behaviors can be intimidating (it's like talking about someone's child). Guy has a natural ability of putting those insecurities to rest. Absolutely wonderful! He helped us understand our pup better and got her to trust us a little bit more. He didn’t stereotype her as an “aggressive breed” like most other people do, but worked with her to help her nervousness and taught her how to regulate her uncertainty. 10/10

We were recommended to Guy and Honor My Paws by a coworker. We had an issue where two of our dogs started fighting to the point that we thought we were going to have to re-home one of them. We met with two other trainers before Guy. They both wanted to use shock collars and do the board and train thing for at least 4 weeks for thousands of dollars. Along with not giving us much hope.... Our house was like walking on egg shells. Until we talked to Guy on the phone.

He immediately knew what to do and talked to us for 40 minutes before the first meeting about what to do. It felt like the world was lifted off our shoulders. From the moment Guy walked into our house and started working with our two dogs everything changed. We now have two dogs that are back to cuddling and playing together. Along with being able to walk on a leash and not react to things or people. They are still learning and we look forward to every lesson from Guy. I recommend him to everyone no matter the dogs age. You will be impressed right away with how much he can help you.
